ALPA is one of the largest independent employers of Aboriginal people in Australia, a demographic a higher than average school drop-outs rates and equally high unemployment. ModFab, a local Autodesk partner, provided participants from ALPA’s Community Development Programs in Milingimbi and Ramingining with training in designing and 3D printing with Tinkercad. Participants in the program collected plastic trash and debris from the community and recycled it into plastic filament which they used to 3D print.
It’s pretty amazing to see not only the impact of Tinkercad but 3D printing! Congrats TinkerStars!
