It’s been a minute since our last community challenge, so much has been happening that I fell out of routine a little. But fear not! We have a challenge for the month of June that I know will yield much radness.
For those intrepid Tinkerers who use the full menu of the editor, you may know about the Connectors – a series of ball-and-socket joints that can be used to make moveable figures. These connectors are the focus of this month’s challenge, and your chance to flex your design skills using these components.
Your design can be anything! Though we’ll probably be looking for a person, a place and a thing when we’re considering the 3 we’re going to print out and send to their creators along with some Tinkercad gear.
(Person = a character made using the Connectors / Place = architectural model or miniature / Thing = a device with a real use)
I’m working on my own Thing right now, here’a preview:
Just be sure to tag your model name with #balljoint so we can find it. Any questions? Tweet us @tinkercad or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
