3D Modeling and Printing with Tinkercad: Create and Print Your Own 3D Models

We looked through our mail today and were so stoked when we saw James Floyd Kelly had sent us a copy of his new Tinkercad textbook!

There are some great lessons and projects, and surely worth the $22 on Amazon.

To be honest, we were most impressed with a bit in the back that reminds users to attribute the models they remix to the original authors..!

Good job, James!

  1. on the topic of acknowledgement… sometimes a model is based on more than one other. can we please have a method of adding sources/inspirations?
https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0DMWoHC9ExG-australia-tinkercup2014-byhookorcrook-6 was based on TinkerCAD Penguin, My world Cup, Tinker-er jet pack and Chases’ Gun – but only one attribution was possible. Oh yeah the world cup uses an STL from thingiverse so it would be good to mention external URL as well
