Summer is officially here!  We want to see what you guys are making with 3D, and to kick off the ideas, here's a super-simple ramp.  Gone are the days of milk-crate-and-board death-trap. I'm making this in Tinkercad, then exporting to 123D Make to build on a ShopBot.  Just glue the pieces together and voila...  Start small.  Don't get overconfident.

Just use the Wedge in the Geometric drop-down and resize. Use the Wedge and resize.

Since the Tinkercad build area is constrained (for now), you'll need to build the ramp to scale.  I changed the mm to inches, and treated 1 inch = 1 foot. Or 1/12 scale.  I wanted the height to be about 9", so that means my scaled model should be 3/4 inch.  Total dimensions desired: 30" x 48" x 9" - so I scale it down to 2 1/2" x 4" x 3/4".  I can go back to full scale in 123D Make.

Check out the full Instructable for the how-to on my sweet jump.

I'm going to grab my helmet and get started.  Now let's see your Summer creations!  Just use the #summerfun in the Tinkercad description.
