We’re always thrilled to hear and learn how folks use Tinkercad to create and inspire, and DIY.org is doing just that. They’re an online community that helps teach kids skills on their path to becoming makers through challenges, like Design in 3D CAD Software where Tinkercad is featured. Sweet!
DIY.org launched eight skills a month ago and are adding new ones for kids to discover every few days. Through their site, kids can upload projects, complete challenges then share them with their family and friends. Creativity is awarded through stickers, challenge completions and badges. Each skill, like Astronomer, Gardener, Rocketeer, Camper, Salvager, Wind Engineer, etc. comprises a set of challenges. For each challenge DIY.org also includes links to inspirational tools on the web to help kids solve their current challenge.
